The instructors behind Liquid Planet
We are a dive studio in Lanzarote specialised in training, guided dives and technical diving. Since 2014 we have shared the island with divers of every level: from first-timers to instructors and technical divers looking to explore their limits.
Meet Liquid Planet’s team
We come from different worlds, but we all arrived at the same place: the sea of Lanzarote. At some point we decided to leave our careers to do what we are truly passionate about: diving and sharing it with others. Today we are a team of certified diving instructors and guides who put all our experience at the service of everyone who wants to discover the ocean of Lanzarote with us.
Rafa
I used to be a pilot, a luxury hotel manager and an entrepreneur. A few years ago I decided that my profession would be sharing diving. I am passionate about overhead environments and decompression theory.
The dive studio concept was born from the way I understand this work: personalised, tailor-made and unhurried. For me, teaching diving is a craftsman’s job, not a factory one.
Clara
I am a medical researcher by training, although I became a diving instructor while I was still studying. Since then I have combined diving with environmental conservation projects and research in aquatic environments, travelling around the world. I am passionate about nature, art, different people and cultures, and diving that challenges me. At Liquid Planet I found the place where all of that makes sense at once.
