What prior level do I need to start technical diving?

It depends on the course: each programme has its own starting requirements. Being comfortable and confident in the water helps a lot, but before moving into more complex training we always watch how the student is progressing and adapt the pace. Tell us about your experience and we’ll guide you on where to start.

Which agency certifies your technical courses and what recognition do they have?

We train with UTD and SSI, two prestigious agencies in technical diving. Their certifications have international recognition, so your qualification will be valid and respected at technical diving centres and projects all over the world.

Can I start technical diving coming from recreational diving?

Of course. Technical diving is the natural evolution of recreational diving and many of our students take that step. We start by solidly building the base skills and progress gradually and safely towards more advanced configurations and techniques, always at your own pace.

At which spots in Lanzarote do the technical dives take place?

The diving areas in Lanzarote are more or less the same for all levels, and most of them have very deep zones, ideal for technical diving. We don’t need to travel to different spots: in the same locations we find the deep bottoms, the volcanic formations and the black coral forests that make the island unique.
